This policy explains what AI Boss Builder collects about you, why, who else handles it, and what you can ask us to do with it. AI Boss Builder is run by Tinkerers, LLC ("we"). Questions go to [email protected].
1. What we collect
When you reserve a seat on buildertoboss.com: - Your first name, last name, email address and date of birth. - Which description fits you best, and anything you write in "Tell us in a few words." - Your preferred class day and time. - The plan you choose.
When you pay: Stripe collects your card and billing details. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe tells us your name, email, the plan, the amount, and whether each payment went through. We record when you agreed to the course terms and this policy on the reservation form.
During the course: - Your posts, comments and profile in the course community. - Your work and progress in the lessons platform, Thinkific. - Your face, voice and words in recorded classes and office hours (see section 4). - Emails you send us.
What we do not collect: health information, government ID numbers, or your employer's data. Please never share an employer's confidential data with the course (code of conduct, section 3).
How you use the website: we may use analytics tools to learn how people find and use buildertoboss.com, for example how many visitors open the sign-up form and how many finish it. We do not use advertising cookies. Any analytics tool we use is listed in section 3.
2. Why we use it

- For marketing, only if you sign a separate consent form.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.
3. Who else handles it
We use these services to run the course. Each handles your information under its own privacy policy.

| Cloudflare | Hosts the website and our buyer list | Your form answers and purchase record |
| Resend | Sends our emails | Your name and email |
| Our community platform | The course community and recordings | Your profile and posts |
| Thinkific | Lessons and homework | Your name, email and progress |

| Substack | Your bonus year of the instructor's paid Substack | Your email, to give the subscription |
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.
4. Recordings and the AI note-taker
- Classes are recorded for the replay library. Office hours are recorded and posted to your cohort's community space only. VIP one-on-ones are sent only to that VIP.
- By joining, you agree that your face and voice may be shown to your cohort in recordings.
- On calls the instructor attends, an AI note-taking service makes a transcript for the instructor's notes and to improve the course. It is not shared outside the business.
- We use your name, image, voice or words in public marketing only if you sign a separate consent form. We ask during the course, never at checkout. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to [email protected].
5. How long we keep it
- Purchase and refund records: 7 years, for tax and accounting.
- Your form answers, including your date of birth, and email: while you are a student or in the community, then 2 years.
- Recordings: for as long as we run the community, so students can rewatch them.
- Call transcripts: kept as part of our business records, to improve the course.
- If you ask us to delete your information, we delete what the law lets us delete and keep only what we must.
6. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to: - send you a copy of your information, - correct it, - delete it, - stop using it for marketing.
Write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. Every email we send has a way to stop non-essential messages. Emails about your seat, payments and class links keep coming while you are enrolled.
7. Security
We use well-known services that protect data in transit and at rest, and we limit who can see it. No system is perfectly safe. If a breach affects your information, we tell you as the law requires.
8. Children
The course is for adults 18 and older. We ask for your date of birth to verify this, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we post the new version here with its date. If a change is significant, we email students.
